What is being bought
Aberdeen City Council intend to award a single contract for the provision of a care at home service which will be delivered to all adults (i.e. those over 16 years of age) across Aberdeen City deemed in need of Services regardless of primary care type.     Aberdeen City Council requires the provision of Care and Support at Home services for all adults (i.e. those over 16 years of age) across Aberdeen City deemed in need of services regardless of primary care type, who meet the current eligibility criteria and require assistance through visiting support to live independently and to develop, regain or retain their daily living skills through provision of personal care, personal support, housing support, or any other type of support deemed appropriate to meet identified outcomes. This will include individuals who may have learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health difficulties, acquired brain injury and those who are experiencing difficulties associated with using drugs and/or alcohol. Commensurate with the Partnership’s philosophy of outcomes-focussed care, Services delivered shall meet personal outcomes in line with GIRFE principles, rather than outcomes associated with specific client group. Additional information: Contract duration and estimated value includes initial five year contract term with two additional 1 year extensions
