The SPS requires the supply of 8 (indicative) desktop explosives & narcotics trace detectors and consumables that meet the requirements of the SPS specification. There is also a requirement to update the SPS narcotics library with new compounds. The successful supplier shall provide preventative and reactive maintenance of the Goods in order to ensure optimal performance for the Contract Term and shall be required to work in partnership with the SPS.

Suitability
Bidders should be aware that they are required to provide a Service that operates in accordance with UK Home Office requirements to obtain and maintain an inventory of controlled substances.
Economic & financial standing
Bidders will be required to have a minimum yearly turnover of GBP100K for the last 2 years.

Technical & professional ability
The ITT documentation sets out the details of the requirements of the contract, but the successful licensed supplier shall:
-Be capable and have experience to supply approved and certified desktop explosives and narcotics trace detectors.
-Be able to provide planned preventative and reactive maintenance services.
-Provide consumables to operate the devices throughout the contract term.
