The Agency's Data Platform built on Azure Databricks in 2019-20, requires improvements to support its expanded use for production grade data management, decision support and analytics.\r

The services are outcome-based and project-driven, intended to improve the operational reliability, DevOps/DataOps maturity, and architectural robustness of the Authority's enterprise Azure-based data platform.\r

Strategic objectives behind this contract are:\r

• Improve operational reliability and platform resilience.\r
• Enable multi-developer DevOps workflows across Sandbox, Dev, Pre-Prod, and Production.\r
• Standardise Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.\r
• Implement structured CI/CD using Azure DevOps.\r
• Strengthen DataOps governance and controlled data promotion.\r
• Reduce configuration drift and production risk.\r
• Increase integration with GIS and other agency data systems.\r
• expand support for Data Science, AI and handling unstructured data at scale.
