What is being bought

Published requirement description

Following on from initial pilots for East Sussex County Council's (ESCC) Blue Heart project (funded through the Environment Agency's (EA) Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Programme (FCRIP)), real-time monitoring of water levels is required across the Blue Heart study area in Eastbourne and southern Wealden. After 12 months, the project team will review the success of the location, operation and data of the telemetry devices and determine if there is a need to extend monitoring, relocate or remove the devices.

This contract is awarded.

This Contract has now been extended for 31 months until 31 March 2027.

Additional information: The contract value is based on estimated quantities and information stated in the tender. Although we cannot be certain of the overall

contract value, fixed unit prices were provided.

Contract length is based on the initial term only.

Description

This Contract has now been extended using the allowed for clause 2.2 within the contract for a period of 31 months from 24 August until 31 March 2027. No monetary values have been changed on the Contract Price. The Contract is being extended to accommodate the maintenance costs of the sensor devices until March 2027.
