UKRI-2996 - RAL Fire Safety Consultancy Works – (Inc not limited to; Strategy Reports and Fire Risk Assessment Consultancy Works)

UK Research and Innovation (‘UKRI’) is planning to launch a procurement for a term service framework contract to provide Fire Consultancy Works for its component Research Council, the Science and Technology Facilities Council (‘STFC’). The Contract will be for any such works including Fire Hazard Assessment, Fire Strategy Documentation, Fire Risk Assessment and Training. It is an exciting time for the STFC estate as the corporate estate’s strategy is refreshed, underpinned by the recent completion of full building/asset condition across the entire estate. The contract will be based on NEC4 Term Service Contract with estimated building survey costs based on schedules of day rates for specific surveyor, and consultant disciplines. STFC would like to invite potential bidders to a supplier day at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (‘RAL’). There will be the opportunity to learn more about the requirement, open floor questions, and to have a tour of some of the facilities on site to understand the working environment, diversity, and the potential of this requirement. Useful feedback from the days and Q&A sessions may be used to inform the final tender documentation, ensuring all valid options are considered. The supplier day will take place on Tuesday 4th April 2023 starting at 11:00am at the Science and Technical Facilities Council, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Harwell Campus, Didcot, OX11 0QX. The supplier day will last approximately 2 hours, comprising the following: — overview of the facilities and requirements, — open floor Q&A, — site tour, — individual Q&A ‘surgery’ (as time allows and as appropriate).
