Coverage: 85 active published awards; 3 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The Corporate Officers of the House of Commons and the House of Lords (the Authority) would like to notify the market of a potential upcoming requirement. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks information relating to Transcription Services.
The House of Commons and the House of Lords (the Authority) is looking to establish a framework to procure several suppliers to provide transcription services to the House of Commons and House of Lords. The service will be required to provide verbatim reporting of the proceedings of Select Committees (including Joint Committees), Private Bill Committees, and of other proceedings as required. A proportion of this transcription work will be carried out by the Official Reporters, therefore this contract would be required to support the internal team, particularly in busy periods.
The purpose of this questionnaire is to engage with the market ahead of a procurement exercise for the transcription services. We will use the insights we gain here to shape our requirements for that procurement.
We expect to agree this contract for an initial period of 3 years, with the possibility of a 1 year extension option (3+1).
