A radius of approximately 10 miles from the Health Board border is considered a maximum reasonable range for the provider facility. The key objectives of the service are: - To ensure the provision of safe and effective cataract service provision to NHS patients - To free up outpatient and primary eye care capacity for patients at higher risk of sight loss. - SpaMedica are a familiar provider that can support the delivery of additional Cataracts activity, ensuring patients are seen within appropriate wait times.
