Coverage: 6 active published awards; 6 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale

Procedure rationale'This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.'
Regulation 14 has been applied due to ongoing delays in planned delivery and procurement to expand the existing service contract. Currently the provider has continued to provide the activity coordinator/member of staff in service with the expectation of contract expansion to include existing services. However due to delays there is a financial risk to the provider and the trust, should the provider remove the member of staff from service this would impact on patient care and trust services creating greater pressure on rehab services.
The contract term is 12 month
