Coverage: 23 active published awards; 22 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleGitLab is the main repository for projects and system code, and it is part of the NHS Business Services Authority’s Cloud First strategy. GitLab is a DevOps tool that that combines the ability to develop, secure, and operate and deploy software all through a single application. With the increasing demand for services to open source their code to the public due to GDS assessment requirements, it’s important that the right tools with adequate security are used to look after the NHS Business Services Authority’s code.<br/><br/>Desktop research has confirmed that Gitlab is still the most appropriate product, and this has been re-affirmed by Technology colleagues for this renewal to ensure continuity of service and mitigate security risks. |
