- Lot 1 · #1Individual lot title not publishedplannedPublished valueNot publishedNHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board intends to undertake a procurement process for the provision of Safe Havens and Crisis Houses. <br/>The Crisis House service should provide a safe and therapeutic environment for service users who are experiencing a crisis, but do not necessarily have medical needs that require hospital admission.<br/><br/>The Crisis House can help avoid the need for service users to go into hospital or provide support to help step down service users from stays in hospital.<br/>The Safe Havens service should incorporate clinical support with the current safe havens and crisis well-being cafés through 9 safe havens of which:<br/><br/>• 3 will offer 24/7 rapid access and assessment. They will be co located on general medical acute hospital sites<br/>- open access 3pm to midnight (outside of these times access will be via professional referral)<br/> - staffed by a blend of support workers and clinicians<br/>• 6 will operate 7 days per week in community based settings<br/>- open access 3pm to midnight<br/> - staffed by support workers<br/>The contract duration is expected to be 3 years with up to a 2-year extension option.<br/>The indicative total contract value (over 5 years) against anticipated activity trajectories is expected to be approximately £13million.<br/>The commissioner has published this Prior Information Notice to support pre-procurement engagement only at this stage.<br/>The objective of this engagement is to help the commissioner finalise the financial model, service model and procurement strategy. Providers are invited to attend a virtual market engagement event which will focus on the service specification/requirements, financial model and an overview of the procurement process. The event is scheduled for 11th July 2023 at 10am. Providers will also be invited to schedule 1:1 meetings with the commissioner following this event to further discuss financial model, service model and procurement strategy. Further event details will be communicated to registered providers. <br/><br/>Providers are asked to complete a short questionnaire as part of the registration process. <br/><br/>Please note, this PIN relates to services within the scope of Schedule 3 thereto (Social and Other Specific Services). The Commissioner(s) and AGCSU are, therefore, bound only by those parts of the Regulations applying to Schedule 3 services (also known as the "Light Touch Regime"). The Commissioner does not bind itself to commencing or running any public procurement procedure further to, or as a result of, this market engagement. Any subsequent procurement, if undertaken, will be commenced byway of a separate call for competition via a relevant notice published in Find a Tender.
