Coverage: 515 active published awards; 512 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
This specification seeks to procure Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P) training to be
delivered to suitable practitioners working in specialist perinatal mental health services and
maternal mental health services across all seven regions in England.
COS-P is a parenting programme for parents and caregivers of children between the ages of
4 months and 6 years. It is a targeted-selective programme delivered in a variety of health
care settings and aims to improve children’s attachment.
The Programme is based on 60 years of attachment theory and research about how
parent/child relationships can be supported and strengthened; it makes attachment theory
accessible and applicable to parents. (Attachment theory provides a framework for
understanding children’s fundamental relational needs and our responses to those needs
as caregivers.)
