This is a preliminary market engagement notice under the Procurement Act 2023 with the intention to adopt the competitive (Open Procedure) approach for any future procurements for this service. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Procurement Act 2023 Regulations. For the avoidance of doubt, both the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the new Provider Selection Regime (PSR). The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 do not apply to this service.

Description of the procurement North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) are working for, and on behalf of, NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (the Contracting Authority), who are conducting a Request for Information (RFI) exercise in order to gain a better understanding of the capacity and appetite of the market to deliver Trauma Intervention and Bereavement Counselling Service for children, young people and young adults aged 4 - 35 years within the North East and North Cumbria areas: It is anticipated that TUPE may apply to this service.
