Coverage: 109 active published awards; 103 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
West Midlands Rail Executive (WMRE) and Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) are developing a package of three new railway stations at Moseley, Kings Heath and Hazelwell within Birmingham City Council (BCC). These will be served by two trains an hour running between Birmingham New Street and Kings Norton.
The West Midlands Combined Authority is running this short market engagement process in order to understand market issues that may affect the procurement and delivery of this scheme.
Potential suppliers are invited to review a market engagement pack, which will provide a high level outline of the scope of works, the contracting strategy, terms and conditions and the procurement process, including timescales. There will also be an engagement questionnaire which requests high level feedback on a small number of factors currently affecting the construction sector. Suppliers will also be invited to attend a project briefing session.
Programme of engagement:
2nd July 2021 – market engagement pack available for download on Bravo
9th July 2021 – supplier briefing session
16th July 2021 – final date for submission of responses to questionnaire
This Market Engagement will be run via the WMCA eTendering system. The opportunity can be accessed via 'Current Opportunities' at - https://wmca.bravosolution.co.uk
