Lot 2 - Flying Start Childcare Expansion (FSCE) - Welsh and English medium Childminders.

Swansea Council are aiming to procure high-quality, part-time, funded, Flying Start Childcare Expansion places with local CIW registered childcare providers. This is to provide childcare for all eligible 2–3-year-olds, for 2 ½ hours a day, for a maximum of 5 days a week, for a maximum of 39 weeks, in line with school terms. Childcare providers will be placed on a framework, where parents will be able to choose a childcare provider. Therefore there is no guarantee of the take up of childcare places. The publication of this notice does not signify the beginning of any formal procurement process and does not constitute a commitment by the Council to undertake any future procurement process. The Council may withdraw or amend any information contained in this notice at any time and without notice Additional information: All suppliers that pass all the minimum thresholds set out in the Supplier Suitability Questionnaire will be appointed on to the framework. It is expected that the Framework Contractors within Lots 1 & 2 will be allocated work during the framework period, however the Council makes no guarantee of work.
