This is in line with the Welsh Government’s Programme for Government phased expansion of Early Years provision for all 2–3-year-olds in Wales, with particular emphasis on Welsh medium provision.

This is to provide childcare for all eligible 2–3-year-olds, for 2 ½ hours a day, for a maximum of 5 days a week, for a maximum of 39 weeks, in line with school terms. Childcare providers will be placed on a framework, where parents will be able to choose a childcare provider. Therefore there is no guarantee of the take up of childcare places. The publication of this notice does not signify the beginning of any formal procurement process and does not constitute a commitment by the Council to undertake any future procurement process. The Council may withdraw or amend any information contained in this notice at any time and without notice Additional information: All suppliers that pass all the minimum thresholds set out in the Supplier Suitability Questionnaire will be appointed on to the framework.
