Coverage: 101 active published awards; 96 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
The City of Wolverhampton Council invites expressions of interest to support the Council to develop a live entertainment, hospitality and retail scheme on the Bell Street Site, utilising converted shipping containers. This proposed destination facility, is programmed to open in spring/summer 2024 and is expected to offer a complimentary venue to the City's many wider attractions and help drive footfall and activity into the west side of the City Centre. The final design for the scheme is not yet finalised and the Council is keen to engage the market to identify prospective operators and to secure operator input into this design process to enable a full planning application to be submitted in spring 2023. The preliminary concept envisages a two-level scheme extending to approximately 5,000 sqm, around a central event plaza, with a tensile roof structure, alongside new public car parking.
