What is being bought
Ceredigion County Council, on behalf of the Ceredigion Local Nature Partnership (LNP), is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the construction, and installation of two wildlife towers within Ceredigion, with the first tower being built in Aberystwyth.
The appointed contractor will be responsible for delivering a high-quality structure that provides habitat for a range of priority species, including bats, Barn Owls, Kestrels, Little Owls, and invertebrates, covering all aspects through to construction and completion.
This project supports the LNP’s objectives to enhance biodiversity and promote sustainable environmental design. Preference will be given to contractors who demonstrate the use of reclaimed, recycled, and locally sourced materials, and a commitment to minimising environmental impact.
The project is estimated to be completed by the 31st of December 2026.
