Background and Purpose The Council is seeking to recommission an integrated model of housing-related support for both men and women who are at risk of, or experiencing domestic abuse. The proposed model is intended to strengthen domestic abuse and homelessness prevention, and improve the quality of support delivered to this client group in Monmouthshire. Proposed Contract Lots (subject to change) The Council anticipates tendering two separate contract Lots: Lot 1 Floating Support, Advice and Prevention, including early intervention and crisis support for both men and women who are at risk of, or experiencing domestic abuse. Also includes a Domestic Abuse Screening Officer. Approx. £250,000 per annum Lot 2 Refuge Accommodation for women and families who are fleeing domestic abuse and need emergency accommodation. 5 units of refuge accommodation for families, 2 units of dispersed accommodation for single women.
