Funded by Innovate UK, an agency of the UK government, MDC are an independent not-for-profit company bringing together a fragmented UK sector of industry, academia, charities, technologists, services, finance companies, SMEs and start-ups who together can turn good science into new, high value products. By sharing problems, rare expertise and assets we support the growth of this new community through a time of radical business and national change. Medicines Discovery Catapult (MDC) is conducting market engagement/research for the establishment of Contracts for a Main Contractor and Design Team disciplines relating to a Validation Laboratory. A brief questionnaire relating to this exercise can be found at Appendix 1. MDC is seeking the input of the marketplace on a number of areas to help inform the structure of the Contracts and the scope of requirement. Completion of this questionnaire and any involvement in this market engagement does not confer any right or expectation that the organisation will be selected for any further tender should a procurement exercise be undertaken. By participating in the market engagement questionnaire, you are undertaking that you are authorised to supply any information you provide, and that you understand and agree that: — Participation in this market engagement will not include or preclude any organisation from participating in any future procurement exercise, — The outcome of the market engagement will aid MDC’s development of its procurement strategy and will not favour any single response to the market engagement, — No information provided in the response to the market engagement will be used in any evaluation of any subsequent response to a procurement exercise, — The outcomes of the market engagement will become the sole property of MDC; and — MDC reserves the right to disclose the outcomes of the market engagement with Innovate UK and partner Catapults.
