What is being bought
To avoid placing children in unregistered provision, ECC has a programme to acquire and refurbish 4 properties in Essex for use as solo registered children’s homes. This tender is for the care provider for the first of these provisions, and will be a block contract. The purpose of this particular solo property will be to create a safe place where a child can be fully supported with high quality trauma informed care whilst a more permanent and longer-term placement is sought,. This is a short term, solo bed placement to be used in an emergency basis. It will be a registered children’s home bed for any child with SEMH during a period of crisis.
