## Description
HMRC intend to award a concession contract to a single supplier for the United Kingdom's tobacco tracking and tracing system under the World Health Organization Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products.
The UK has a current supplier who provides the services required to enable the continued tracking and tracing of tobacco products manufactured in or imported into the UK. Our current contract for this provision expires on 30th June 2022 and we are seeking a supplier to deliver this solution from 1st July 2022.
The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to alert interested parties and invite potential suppliers to a virtual engagement event on 14th June 2021.
