The ultimate goal of the programme is to reduce poverty by maximising emissions reductions in developing countries in order to promote clean growth and avoid dangerous climate change. UK PACT strengthens relations with partner governments, builds capacity in key partner institutions, and raises the visibility of the UK’s work in this field. To deliver on these goals, the UK PACT programme is split across three components, for each of which a Delivery Partner was procured under a separate Lot. The UK PACT programme (and associated contracts) transferred from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) on 1st April 2022.
