The objectives of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) are to assess the interest and capacity within the market to deliver an integrated software platform for All-Wales Pharmacy Technical service and to obtain indicative costs to inform the business case. The Transforming Access to Medicines (TRAMS) programme is a programme to establish a new Pharmacy Technical Service which will, in essence, be a medicines manufacturing service, whereby customers (typically NHS Wales Health Boards/Trusts) will be placing orders for medicines at one of 3x main manufacturing hubs, and at least 1x satellite hub. The TRAMS programme is a strategic Welsh Government programme delivered in partnership with NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership and the Health Boards/Trusts to transform Pharmacy Technical Services in Wales.
