Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 79. The category anchor is Fair and exhibition organisation services (79956000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.

Procurement method rationaleHenry Moore is recognised as one of the leading artists of the 20th century and has been exhibited heavily in the UK and internationally for over 70 years. Moore's works are instantly recognisable for their scale, materiality and subject matter. Nature as inspiration and the connectedness between his works & the landscape are significant themes in Moore's works, which support Kew's over-arching mission to protect the natural world. Henry Moore Foundation holds the IP of all works that will be exhibited at RBG Kew and require that only Mtec Fine Art are experienced & trusted to transport several valuable and unique artworks. 30 large-scale bronze works (some up to 6 m) The contract value includes: project management, install & deinstall planning & delivery, including fine art technicians to transport & handle artworks, driving specialist vehicles (cranes, MEWPs etc), managing fabrication of specialist plinths/bases for sculptures, excavations to specified scope of works by HMF, working within RBG Kew site policies and procedures. A detailed breakdown of cost have been provided. As a heavily collected and commercialised artist, working with Henry Moore Foundation and Mtec Fine Art will also bring back financial benefit to RBG Kew through retail and publishing sales
