Payment obligations depend on the applicable regime and contract. Consult the official documents.
Coverage: 7 active published awards; 6 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleIt is possible for other IACS members to quote for the classification services but the age of the fleet presents several challenges. Other providers have been approached, however, they are not interested in Vessels of this age profile as apparently it will bring their age profile of ship classed up which they do not want. The vessels currently carry various memorandum on the Lloyds classification particularly on the engine blocks, which may cause difficulties for transfer of classification should another provider be appointed.
