General Description\n• The high-density stacking chair shall be designed for public and commercial environments such as conference rooms, event halls, and multi-use facilities. The chair must be ergonomic, durable, space-efficient, and easy to handle during setup and storage.\n• 400 chairs are required as well as the necessary equipment to move 300 of these chairs.\n2. Construction Requirements\n2.1 Frame\n• Material: High-strength steel or aluminium tubing.\n• Finish: Powder-coated or chrome-plated for corrosion resistance and aesthetic durability.\n• Welding: All joints must be fully welded or securely fastened to ensure structural integrity.\n2.2 Seat and Backrest\n• Material: A durable and wipeable material. Preference will be given to recycled and recyclable materials.\n• Ergonomics: Contoured for user comfort for long periods.\n• Colour Options: Range of standard colours required, with optional custom finishes\n3. Performance and Durability\n3.1 Durability\n• Must comply with or exceed BS EN16139:2013 level 2: severe contract use\n3.2 Linking\n• The chairs should be able to be linked.\n3.3 Floor Protection\n• Non-marking glides or caps on legs.\n• Optional ganging clips for connecting multiple chairs securely.\n3.4 Stacking Capability\n• Must stack a minimum of 20 chairs high on a dolly/cart.\n• Without dolly: minimum of 8-10 chairs high, stable and secure.\n• Chairs must not damage each other during stacking.\n4. Portability and Handling\n• Chairs must be easy to lift and move by one person.\n• Stack cart/dolly must be compatible and available as an accessory.\n5.
