What is being bought

NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire ICB ("the Commissioner") to commission a community deep vein thrombosis service consisting of ultrasound scanning for diagnosis and management of positive DVT's. The Commissioner is directly awarding a contract to the existing provider GP Care UK Limited in accordance with the criteria outlined in Regulation (9) of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The value of the contract is £630,700 per annum for the initial three-year contract term, with a total contract lifecycle value of five years including the two year extension. The initial three-year period will commence on 1st April 2024. The contract will be subject to an uplift in accordance with the annual planning guidance. This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner.
