TimeTech SATRE modems were previously procured for a bespoke NPL project. Additional SATRE modems are required for the same project. Purchasing the additional SATRE modems from a different supplier would result in significant differences in both the hardware configuration and the operational software between different parts of the project. This would result in non-compliance to the requirement for the design of the project to be the same as far as practical.",
