For one car park work is required to install new vehicular edge protection alongside suicide prevention works, and for all car parks the Council has a requirement to consider immediate, temporary suicide prevention remedies. The purpose of this exercise is to gain a better understanding of the current market, available solutions, delivery models, indicative costs, timescales, technical considerations and potential procurement routes. The information gathered will help inform the Council’s requirements and future procurement strategy.
