The Council is responsible for ensuring children and young people are safely transported on all forms of transport provided under contract. The specification covers the provision of transport for a wide range of children and young people, including those with Special Educational Needs and Children Looked After. Bidders will need to be able to meet individuals’ needs and provide an appropriate quality of transport and high passenger satisfaction levels. This DPS Agreement is for an initial term of one year (until 31 07 2025), with an option to extend on an annual basis, depending on the Council’s needs. The Council is using the process of a DPS to enable Providers to apply for the DPS at any time.
