RSSB provides industry-wide working groups for engineering, asset management and sustainability and TfL is an active participant in these working groups via the RSSB membership. Affiliate membership of RSSB provides TfL SHE with direct access to a wide range of information, services and industry standard tools that will enable it to better manage many of its key health and safety risks as well as an opportunity to influence wider industry decision-making. In doing so, TfL can operate in accordance with industry best practice informed by significant research, as well as avoid the costs associated with developing its own bespoke tools. .
