What is being bought
The Salford Healthy Child Programme Service (SHCP Service) is at the heart of giving children the best start in life. It brings together the evidence on delivering good health, wellbeing and resilience for every child. The SHCP Service is the early intervention and prevention public health programme that lies at the heart of universal service for children, young people and families at a crucial stage of life. The SHCP Service’s universal reach provides an invaluable opportunity to identify families that are in need of additional support and children who are at risk of poor outcomes. The SHCP Service is an integrated service for expectant mothers, children, young people, and their families that offers interventions from the pre-natal stage up to the age of 19. The age criteria cover 0 years to 18 years and 364 days, up to a child’s 19th birthday. This procurement exercise is being conducted in line with the Light-Touch Regime. and shall be conducted following a process based on the Open Procedure. However, the services to be procure are light touch services and the Council therefore reserves the right to deviate from the Open Procedure set out in the Public Contract Regulations 2015, and the details of the procurement process are set out in the procurement documents.
