The initial contract period shall be four consecutive calendar years with an optional extension period, at Phoenix discretion, for a further four years. Whilst there is no guarantee of any minimum nor maximum workload, the estimated total number of meters required during the initial four-year period (2027 – 2031) is expected to be approximately 205 units of which 197 are RPD meters and 8 are turbine meters. Should an extension period be invoked, then the estimated number of meter replacements for the four-year extension period shall be expected to be approximately 86 RPD meters and 13 turbine meters. RPD variants are required in the flow range 65m3/hr to 400m3/hr (G40 to G250) and turbine variants in the flow range 650m3/hr to 4000m3/hr (G400 to G2500). Meters shall be approved under the Measuring Instruments Directive (2014/32/EU) and will display / register the quantity of gas passed in m3 (cubic metres).
