The Council will also require the removal, storage and re-installation of a number of existing free standing hoists (not more than 40), which are the property of the Council. These contract arrangements will enable Durham County Council to fulfil its duty of care to ensure that all assessed needs for ceiling track hoists, mobile hoists, gantry hoists are met throughout the period of the contractual arrangement.
