This project is a holistic, citizen led, high intensity supported housing project to provide accommodation and support to citizens affected by homelessness who have mental health needs. Citizens will have high level support needs with many needing support to develop basic independent living skills. The support provided will be flexible and person-centered, supporting people to overcome barriers to homelessness by addressing mental health, substance misuse or any other problems they may face, helping to improve their health and well-being. For many people the cycle of homelessness is interwoven with complex issues such as relationship breakdown, domestic abuse, drugs and alcohol, mental health issues and offending.
