The Service will be delivered within the borders of the county of Powys in Mid Wales. Tenderers were aware of the very rural nature of Powys and the challenges that this presents in respect of providing good quality, reliable services. The formal invitation to submit a Tender for a contract for the provision of Integrated Substance Misuse Services in Powys was issued. The successful tenderer will be required to work in close partnership with the clinical service provider. The aim was to appoint a single provider or consortium of providers who can deliver services to begin delivery on 1st September 2022 for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 1 year plus 1 year at the Council’s discretion.
