Specialist material published by small independent authors/publishers that cannot be purchased via the contracted supplier. The specialist materials are required to meet specific needs e.g. learning disability, reminiscence therapy, speakers of other languages where English is not the first language. Audiobooks (CD format) The library audiobook copyright for any given title is held by one publisher. These publisher/library suppliers are Ulverscroft, WF Howes and Bolinda and they offer discount to library authorities and supply the goods serviced for library use.
