These distribution assets are predominately polyethylene and metallic gas mains, service pipes and ancillary apparatus, operating at pressures up to and including seven (7) bar, i.e., low-pressure, medium pressure and intermediate pressure mains and services. It should be noted that SGN has a separate Agreement in place dealing with emergencies on its Gas Transmission Assets (i.e., apparatus operating >7 Bar pressure).  Incidents of third-party damage or failure of distribution assets are not uncommon and are normally managed by SGN's resources.
