The sites covered are the Wallingford Town Walls, the Saxon burh (town) defences, and Wallingford Castle and the Motte. The work is intended to inform and enable future conservation works, including measures to limit erosion, manage vegetation and shrub coverage, and address unstable trees, while protecting buried archaeology and the historic character of the sites.
