What is being bought
We are looking for suppliers who can provide the property as well as the support for a ‘Mother & Baby’ service – vulnerable women with one or more dependent child - within 6 to 9 months. It is desirable to have one supplier for both property and service. The service comprises of the following: • accommodation-based site with 19 bed spaces for small families in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea area. The service will provide a 24/7 sleep-in service.

    Supported Housing Service for Mothers Aged 16+ With Housing & Support Needs: This service is a preventative homeless service, it is for vulnerable mothers with complex needs aged 16+ with housing and support needs. The service is for the provision of safe, accommodation-based housing support services for mothers who are deemed to be socially excluded this includes: • young people with complex needs, • young people with substance misuse needs, • young people with multiple needs, including mental health needs, • young people with challenging behaviour(s). It will provide housing related support services with the purpose of developing or sustaining an individual's capacity to maintain their accommodation and live independently in the community. These young people may be leaving institutional care such as hospital or prison, be street homeless, threatened
