Services previously provided to Norwich City Council by Norwich Norse are to be brought back in-house by Norwich City Council and provided via a wholly-owned company of the Council — Norwich City Services Ltd. Services provided by Norwich Norse Environmental will be incorporated into Norwich City Services Ltd from the 1 April, 2021, and those of Norwich Norse Building in April, 2022. Norwich City Services Ltd, which came into being on 9 June 2020, will have its own insurance programme from 1 April 2021, noting that initially this will provide cover in respect of environmental services only. Norwich City Services Ltd will be CHAS accredited www.chas.co.uk and Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) accredited.
