## Description
Over the last 2 years, NHS England has been testing real-world implementation models for delivering a Total Diet Replacement (TDR) based intervention to people with type 2 diabetes. NHS England has to date commissioned this service in 21 Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) and is now preparing to expand the programme further, to achieve full national coverage in 2023/24.Purpose of this documentThis notice aims to provide an update on plans to carry out a procurement process to invite bids to join a new national framework of Low Calorie Diet Programme providers. Details included here are provided to support potential providers to plan for the bidding period once the Invitation to Tender is published. All details described at this stage remain subject to change - information in the Invitation to Tender will take precedence over the information in this notice.
