Satellite dialysis refers to the provision of dialysis treatment in smaller, community-based facilities that operate as extensions of larger hospital dialysis units. These centres are strategically located closer to where patients live, reducing travel time and making treatment more accessible and convenient for those with chronic kidney disease.
