The contractor must provide evidence of having prior experience and specialist knowledge of maintenance of a heritage site, bowling greens and cricket pitches and have a proven track record of a high level of customer satisfaction. The contractor must also demonstrate the ability to be responsive and flexible in its approach to tasks and particularly in dealing with those clubs that use the facilities. Works as set out in the Maintenance Schedule to be provided on application will include grass and hedge cutting, maintenance of grass borders, upkeep of the Cemetery, Garden of Remembrance and Allotments and seasonal maintenance and treatment of the sports pitches.
