The project is NCDS led and centred around both NCDS and DCCU requirements, with the intention of including the wider Communications Data and Lawful Intercept (CDLI) Partnership requirements in scope for the future. The CDLI Partnership is a multi-agency collaboration between the Home Office and National Security Partners, led by the Homeland Security Group as part of the Home Office. The Partnership provides Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and the UK Intelligence Community (UKIC) with sustained access to Communications Data for the purpose of progressing operations to prevent, detect and disrupt terrorism and other criminality, prosecute the perpetrators, protect the vulnerable and save lives.
