There are 15 , off-street car parks across the district with 31 Metric pay and display machines. This tender is for the purchase of 31 new machines with contactless as the only permitted payment method. There is no requirement to record vehicle registration numbers. All machines are currently mains powered however the Authority would like to consider the option of moving to alternative power supplies, therefore the requirement is split in to two types of machines. Mains powered machines Alternative powered Machines However, the Authority reserves the right to award the contract on the basis of Mains powered machines only Alternative powered Machines only Mixture of the above.
