Coverage: 0 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) works in partnership with universities, businesses, charities and government to create the best possible environment for research and innovation to flourish. We aim to maximise the contribution of each of our component parts, working individually and collectively; and we work with many partners to benefit everyone through knowledge, talent and ideas. Operating across the whole of the UK with a combined budget of more than £7 billion, UKRI brings together the seven research councils, Innovate UK and Research England. Innovate UK (IUK) is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), a non-departmental public body funded by a grant-in-aid from the UK government. Pre-market Engagement Innovate UK (IUK) is embarking on an end-to-end Impact Management Design project. The benefit of this is to establish a systematic, robust and compelling impact management structure to create an evidence base upon which IUK can demonstrate its impact consistently and regularly to stakeholders. We would like to invite prospective bidders to attend an online pre-market engagement session exercise so that we can better understand what is available within the market and how to build our specification, prior to sourcing a solution.

Innovate UK is embarking on an End-to-End Impact Management Design project, including the definition of metrics, data, processes, and governance for defining, measuring, monitoring and reporting and the enabling of evaluation of IUK's impact across all our interventions. The benefit of this is to establish a systematic, robust and compelling impact management structure to create an evidence base upon which IUK can demonstrate its impact consistently and regularly to stakeholders. We are looking for a solution to manage the end-to end Impact Management impact structure which will cover a wide range of metrics and impacts across our portfolio of innovation interventions throughout their lifecycle, from initial business case, right through the intervention cycle, in line with our "Evaluation Framework - How we assess our impact on business and the economy". UK Shared Business Services (UK SBS) provide procurement services for UKRI, and in support of this project, UK SBS and IUK are looking to hold a pre-market exploratory exercise to understand what is available within the market by way of suitable solutions against a broad set of requirements. No budget is secured at this stage as we need to understand what is available in the market and pricing mechanisms. The aims of the pre-market engagement exercise are to:  understand the capabilities of solutions which fit the current goals of the business requirement  explore other potential uses  look at different licensing models and various implementation plans Following review of the market, a business case will be created, budget approved, and requirements developed, before proceeding to source the solution. Pre - Market Engagement Supplier Day We would like to invite prospective bidders to attend a pre-market engagement webinar session on Thursday 29th April 2021 at 10:30am - 12:30pm, via Zoom meeting.
