The Project will improve the current energy performance of the building to an EPC rating of B, which will play a crucial role in comating the rising costs of energy for the residents. The works comprise of a full external refurbishment of the blocks along with all common areas including the generous landscape. The project will introduce insulation and air tightness in the form of an entirely new building envelope which sits 1.5m outside of the existing frame. The entirely new structure to the existing building will help alleviate the difficulties of running services throughout an existing building with purpose-built service routing.
