This additional space presents an opportunity to redesign and optimise the existing MRF layout to improve operational performance and future-proof the facility. The Authority is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Tenderer to undertake the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and testing of a redesigned materials recycling line incorporating both the existing and newly available floor areas. The redesigned solution shall aim to: • Improve operational efficiency and throughput. • Enhance health, safety, and welfare standards. • Increase automation and reduce manual handling where practicable. • Reduce contamination levels within material streams. • Improve the quality and value of recovered materials. • Provide flexibility to accommodate future changes in recycling materials and processing requirements.
