The Fund will run from 2022 to 2029. The Authority is currently seeking to fund projects in the following landscapes: · Andes Amazon, covering areas of Ecuador and Peru; · The Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA), covering areas of Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe; · Lower Mekong, covering areas of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam; · Mesoamerica, covering areas of Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras; and · Western Congo Basin, covering areas of Cameroon, Gabon and Republic of Congo Applications will open on different dates depending on the landscape. · Lower Mekong: Applications already open. · KAZA and Mesoamerica: Applications will open 1 August 2022. · Andes Amazon and Western Congo Basin: Applications will be launched in August.
