The primary focus of the MSQ is to better understand the market, supplier appetite, capacity, and capability, as well as perceived risks and opportunities. The engagement will also provide feedback and help to develop the lotting strategy for the framework. The purpose of the framework is to support the area within TfL, by allowing services to be competed through the framework, ensuring value for money for TfL. TfL envisage that the framework will be a standard framework with a duration of 3 years with an option to extend for a further year, however this could change following feedback from the market and TfL reserve the right to change our procurement approach. Temporary Traffic Speed Surveys - TfL requires highly accurate spot speeds of vehicles (split by vehicle classification) and cyclists from remote sensors for short term deployment providing timely intelligence to support TfL business decisions. Specialist Services and Analytics - TfL currently utilises the following specialist traffic data surveys and analysis: Traffic signal specific surveys (Degree of Saturation (DoS) and Under-Utilised Green (UGT)) or Behavioural and compliance studies.
